Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act § 70901–70927 (2021). All iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in US federally-funded infrastructure projects must be produced in the United States. OMB issued final guidance (M-22-11) effective May 2022. Waivers require public notice. Applies to broadband, roads, bridges, energy, and water infrastructure receiving federal funds.
